PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

OAPN 2011 CONFERENCE, COLUMBUS, OHIO

     The Ohio Arts Presenters' Network conference was held in October 2011, in Columbus, Ohio.  The entertainment potential for the historic theatres and small town opera houses located throughout Ohio was addressed once again.  As the base of working historic theatres and opera houses continues to grow, with new, restored venues appearing each year, the need for professional and diverse entertainment continues to grow.  This workshop provided a focused insight into the particular dynamics required by these theatres and opera houses by detailing how they were used historically and how they are currently being used.
